Our planet (EARTH) have millions and zillions of fruits, vegetables, trees, shrubs and lots more. It's a wise saying for "a healthy body eat healthy".But sometimes I feel we never ever eat healthy..all the time munching and eating JUNK..as JUNK FOOD is our second life(OMG)...but CHILL!CHILL!...next time whenever you go for any ITALIAN,MEXICAN,INDIAN,CHINESE cuisine's..you can signal your BRAIN nerves..OH YES!...i am eating healthy...:-)..There are so many disease's but one disease which is most widely talked and half of the population is getting effected by it.is cancer....we have its medicine in our nature only..so lets start :
- BROCCOLI
This is the heart of all Italian recipes..this grass green color plant belongs to the cabbage family..(though i don't eat cabbage personally..somebody scared me that there is little insect in cabbage which goes into brain..loll.. its a fact)..but anyways broccoli is very safe..It is very good if you are suffering from high cholesterol problem. It is a rich source of phytochemicals or plant chemicals, have anti carcinogenic properties and gives best result when eaten raw.
2. ZUCCHINIS
Again a green color food, don't you think green color is anti carcinogenic...(weird thought)...now this belongs to cucumber family..but as cucumber is eaten raw ,zucchini needs to be cooked to get all the benefits..it is richest source of vitamin A and vitamin C...it contains 29% vitamin C,and when it comes to cancer prevention its on the top of the charts..it supports the body immune system and provides the top most defense in forming cancer causing compounds..you can also have zucchinis with chocolate...it turns out to be amazing recipe.
3. JALAPENO(CHILLY PEEPERS)
This is one of the my favorite exotic food...DOMINO'S 5 pepper pizza is incomplete without this and i love it because of it's hot and pungent flavor..it is used mostly when green but when fully ripen it gets red.It is 2-4 inches long.It contains capsaicin and have high levels of vitamin c which is an antioxidant and act as a soldier when comes to immune system protection..These are also Thermogenic and helps in getting weight loss..so next time when u have pizza make sure it have jalapeno topping.
4. ASPARAGUS
This bundle of joy is genius of all exotic foods. This is a spring vegetable and contains vitamin B6 ,folic acid..Most of us don't get adequate amount of B6..so Indian kitchens should have this..this sharpens your memory and even boosts the sexual arousal feeling...it works great on acne and fight against cancer.
5. POMEGRANATE
This is one fruit which available for whole of the year and all of us love it for its juicy flavor..It is great source of iron and very helpful in keeping heart healthy..This also prevent against the various types of cancer and increases the body metabolism.so try having it in your diet by eating it as it is or in your salads..
